This post is about Eritrea’s separation from Abyssinia and his eventual war for independence against Ethiopia. There was going to be lyrics alongside it but I decided against it.

Please notice!! The third panel is a lily flower which represents family and love. Ethiopia also has a medium pink rose which means grievance and congratulations. So basically he isn’t mad at his son he’s really proud of him. Which is why he’s smiling but also grieving cause he’s leaving him- hence the tears. Also I used Eritrea’s older flag that was first raised. And Somalia because he supported Eritrean independence. I was initially going to post this on Father’s Day but because of irl issues I couldn’t and it got delayed. Disappointed I couldn’t get on time and I won’t be able to make it to Somalia’s Independence Day either so that will also be late ;-;

This is the last thing I am posting before hiatus for hopefully only a week. I don’t want to be gone for too long!! I was already gone for a good month (sorry!)
