Story:

The race had started off quite nicely. There was little fuss going on between horses and their riders as they got ready through the day, and Tissa was feeling pretty excited to get out on the trail as soon as possible. Sure, she didn't mind seeing all the other horses, beautiful horses and even some breeds she wasn't familiar with, but she wasn't crazy being near the other participants. She hated being around a lot of people, which is why she preferred Endurance races over other competitions.

The trail was perfect the first couple of days. She took things nice and slow with the two stallions wanting to keep them both in a good mood and keep a good pace. The third day, right before crossing out of Kentucky, the wind picked up and a storm was brewing. Both stallions became a bit more jittery and harder to handle, but they continued to listen to her commands and she was able to calm them. She struggled with the map and compass that her and the other contestants were given before leaving. She hated these things and wished she could have her phone to use the GPS, but of course that was against the rules.

She looked up as the first signs of Spring rain drops started to come down. Today was going to be a long day....

Sucky story is sucky, but the art is AMAZING!!!!

9 1/2 hours went into this, and I couldn't be more proud!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!
