Some artworks I did a short while ago and I didn't want to scrap them. It gave me the idea of doing works and then being unsure, so you never know when you're gonna end up going back to the drawing board. The artist girl is based slightly on myself (Even though all the artwork is mine anyway), I always have this feeling that I'm two people when I do artwork, that I'm me in general and then me, the artist. Wow, weird or what?

Lovely piece dudette, I have to say the lady does certainly look like you

(Which you should draw yourself more often *prods*)

I like the piece in the top right hand corner, it's a shame you abandonded it

Still, great piece!

The piece in the top right corner was, well, mis-coloured when I sat down to pencil colour it. As well as I wasn't satisfied with both character proportions. I know I've done some worse stuff in my deviations, that are all learning curbs for me, but there are some pieces that always make me wonder because of what they turn out like. Traditional work has bugged me since getting into digital stuff, because with digital, you can erase when colouring, unlike traditional, which you have to get right on one attempt.

Exactly right what you said 'back to drawing board' is one of the basis that make or how good your progress works in the future~ its good to see you doing these. It might help your mistake on the angle/measurement etc. and seriously keep this up and someday you might became even better than today and tommorow gonna more look improve a lil' bit yes, bit by bit , it may take time but patience is the key to success ^___^ believe yourself gal (<--ain't gonna called ya dude, no?) as we believe you! Oh and those last words.....nahhhh, everything perfectly normal, nuthing weird just natural I guess >:3

Thanks, an apprechiative comment! I have my troubles and such - even on pictures I love, there is always some measure of disproportion then ends up making the picture half arsed. If I notice these mistakes on the drawing board then they can be corrected, but if not, then I live with them, or do my best to work around them and fit them into the picture itself. We all have to learn as we go along, make our mistakes and then see where it takes us in a learning curb.

You yourself have grown with your skills, and I'm proud to listen to you, as you have been going through the same thing. I think you were more adventureous with your work before I even attempted to try digital work.

Thank you very much!

And yeah, gal it is for me, though dude still works. I'm called many things over my time, though at the end of the day, I'm still a chick-a-dee!

Dun mention it...Hehe, well....what I can say? I know how you feel about this as I also went through exact the same. I just wanna said it out loud based on my experience and supporting you all the way and i agreed the fact that when you tryin the pictures you wanna followed, well sometimes we suck doing it but you dun have to make the same 100% you could also make it yourself for what it is easier with your own skill...true that it doesn't as same you wanna it look like but hey, you are yourself! you have your way and I have mine (also all the artist out there ^_^) you are trying the best you can and I proud of that! just Keep it up~
