Liked him, alongside with Barry and Carlos he is the third character with so much potential but unused/misused, they killed the poor guy

I dunno - killing him wasn't really the worst thing that happened. I think he's a great character, and his death made quite an impact, a lot more then other characters did when they died. I know a lot of people don't like him - I blame his terrible voice acting for a lot of Code Veronica, but it was an interesting little connection that he got going on with Claire, a chemistry that seemed a lot more developed then other duos paired up. And there was the 'I love you' - that sweet attachment he had with her. It was lovely, and especially sad when he gave up his life pretty much for her. And Claire's reaction - she wants to save everyone. But unlike Sherry, she just couldn't protect Steve. That's what makes him and his scenario all that more great. It would have been interesting if they'd revived him - the possibility was there, but it had been and done in the series, so sadly, I figure poor Steve is a goner.
