My first completed sculpture of one of my Cheebees! RAWR!!!!!Kachiri and her little friend Teni stand 120mm (4.5 inches) tall and were sculpted mostly with Super Sculpey Extra Firm Grey with additional details (for the sake of adding strength and durability to the otherwise fragile parts) using Apoxie Fixit Sculpt from Aves.
Painted in oils over acrylics, the first of many sculptures of my original characters to come.

Hehe, thank you, and I'm sure one day more people will come around! j/k really though as I see it this site is a big place overflowing with world-class mind blowing talent, it will take a great deal of patience and hard work to get any sort of recognition here. With time I'm sure it will come though, thanks for your appreciation

Well, sometimes the recognition comes without the talent, and vice versa... sometimes people will scribble on an animΓ© screengrab with MSPaint and get huge recognition, and someone could spend their life painting one picture and have it get one comment. There's a lot of bandwagon-jumping here at DA - for instance, pretty much any work involving Naruto or Kingdom Hearts is likely to get a lot of attention.

Very true. I personally jumped on the Naruto bandwagon due to this site. I'd never watched it before heh. I recently started watching it from the beginning of the series because I was wondering why everyone seems to like that anime so much.
I ended up really liking the show and characters, more than I thought I would, looking forward to watching the rest of the series and doing some more art based off that anime.

I think my favorite part is the spear.. all the detail on the wood and the wrapping and the head! The hair and feathers are great too. All your fine detail is so clean, which is something I haven't seen often~

beautiful! I'm loving all the little details.. like the little bumps in the spear point, the braid like things in her hair, necklace, and spear carvings!
Also, a wonderful color job indeed ^__^ the feathers look so rainbow like haha
