Here's a few head sketches I did up at Heroes Con.
You know these are of you, so come on in and claim yo' face!
I suck at caricatures, but it's always fun to do.
I used to do caricatures at Sea World down in San Diego in 2000. I was only there for a month. The kids were too brutally honest. HAHAHAHA Here's the one that got me running out the door... "That doesn't look like my sister.... that looks like a boy!" DOH! HAHAHAHAHAHA I never went back. Props to caricature artists. Very hard to draw likenesses on the spot in 7 minutes.

Ya, definitely; caricatures are hard to do on the spot. Great practice, but can be kinda hard if the person asking for the picture is feeling a bit "critique-y" that day.

Caricatures are tough but I really like the variety that you get with your heads when you base them on real people, good stuff. I would love to see more things like this from you.

Dig, I do! This may seem oddly specific, but I really love how you draw teeth. They're crooked without being unattractive. Also, you're not bad at caricatures! As long as people know they're getting your style (which they should want anyway), you're doing great.

lol I feel that caricature pain Sean as well. A few years ago, my college art teacher had me do caricatures for the town celebration and festival. I was just a total failure lol, the poor families I worked on, only the kids seemed to be honest about my suckiness!
