The film was cool, the story coulda been better, though. Anyhow onto the art. Superb! You capture the essence so well that it looks like an animated toon.

I love your robots! They are so streamlined and simple, that they pop right off the screen.
I wish that the recent Transformers movie had gone with something closer to your vision, instead of all of that open-wire style they used.

as much as this comes off as a blatant "Megaman NT Warrior" rip off, I still like it because it looks better than that show's characters. It has the same restyle feel tho, I guess thats where I get that feeling from. I wouldnt mind Tranformers looking like this if they do it right. I just dont like how similar this could be turned into a rip of Fireman.EXE and Airman.EXE.

They look groovy. I especially like the fire effect on Goggletron. He looks a bit like a firey boiler btw. The other (Brucebot) reminds me of Gustman of Megaman. XD
Matter of fact they really remind me of Megaman bots.
Any fanboy flaming may only be for a lack of, like... alt mode-ish peices. But who cares since its just a style concept. There are toys to be engineered and stuff to plan out before animators even touch their drawing boards.
I saw nobody complain about Draxhalls stuff yknow.
Anyway. Great job, keep up the good work.

Now if this were animated, I can imagine their movement being a lot smoother then the recent TF series. (Comment, not complaint to anything!)

Don't let it get to yah Cheeks, there is a rumor over at the DonMurphy.net Transformers message board that these are the designs (or similar) for the new Transformers: Heroes cartoon, and with true fanatical zeal, they (for the most part) attack anything that isn't in line with the original 1984 cartoon/ toy series. No, this isn't entirely correct. The fans who dislike the '07 Transformers Movie it's that the film makers dropped ball on the movie designs. I actually find these much more in line with humanoid robots I would see in the Transformers universe. The two bots, they have a little resemblence to Wreckgar and Blurr, and they also have mouths, again something the movie bots generally lack and is misguided in other design ques used by Michael Bay.

I'm looking forward to seeing Transformers Heroes or whatever it shall be known as.

Don't dismiss my opinion like that. You have no right to. The artists talent is very well and I recognize it and appreciate it but the subject matter of this drawing says nothing robot to me in the slightest. I have a right to voice my critique and until the person who did that piece tells me my opinion is not wanted, who are you to makes excuses for me? How dare you assume that I would not like change. Who are you anyway?

I had no idea what you were talking about so had to go check out your pic again and saw my comments. For one thing...Im not a boy, get over it and take the 'fanboy rage' comment and throw it on someone who cares....As for Animated? What about it? I have no interest in it and don't watch it and therefore can't comment on it past the point of yea, I thought the style of art used sucked donkey balls. Is that ok with you or are TF fans suppose to like everything that they ladle out to us? Cause if thats the case this fan is one no more...have a nice day....

Uhm I hate to say this but those are what? Transformers? Nothing on your talant, you are very good artist but those are Transformers? Not diggin them...sorry.....they look more like people in armor -- nothing robotic about them. And the flames coming out of the head?eye? something on the one.....Im at a complete loss why everyone seems to think they look cool. They do not look feasible for anything and the one with the flame head has some really skinny legs close to the knees. How is that supporting him? These are really Transformers? O_O
