Thank you! It's actually a cavalier king charles spaniel though the breeds look pretty similar haha. Red and white puppers, always the best!

Ah gosh thank you so much! I've always wanted to try the limited background thing and it was definitely fun. It makes it easier to remember to focus details on the important stuff and not get carried away with rendering everything.

I was going to say that tree to the top left definitely looks like it takes inspiration from Kalvin and Hobbes, I love this!! The composition is lovely and the colors you used are just so warm and cozy <33

YEAH I love how he outlines some objects but not others and then his use of white space always adds so much as well.
I take commissions like this occasionally. I'm generally wary about them just because they either come to me really easily or take so much effort it's not profitable for me haha. Still working on that. You can always note me if you have something specific in mind though! I sometimes take on little side commissions even though I'm not "open" although things like turn around time vary with them.
So I guess...kind of? Hard to say haha. Sorry for the nebulous answer there!
