Prince Shadow Eclipse is the first born son of King Moon Fang and Queen Midnight Blossom, who are rulers of the bat ponies in Trotsvania, and older brother of Moon Wink. When the Mane Six visit Trotsvania for the first time with Princess Celestia and Princess Luna, Prince Shadow Eclipse felt a connection between him and Luna when he saw her for the first time. Soon, he found himself spending time with Princess Luna until he finally proposed to her and they were married.
