Description Pheonixes:

Phoenixes are a very successful and diverse group of birds who have a cunning trick up their sleeves when it comes to hunting. Pheonixes are wide spread and are found in every corner of the world aside from the southern polar region. These clever birds use fire to draw out small animals from hard to reach places and catch them while the small animals try to flee from the fire. Taking thing on fire in their beaks, pheonixes will sore through the sky or run on land before dropping the flaming object on to a patch of dry grass. When people first saw this they thought that the birds were being reborn from the flames as pheonixes will often fly after starting fires to get a better view at running prey. This has led pheonixes to be a symbol of rebirth in a lot of cultures.

1. Tawny Ringtail Phoenix:
These tiny pheonixes are small and usually attack and prey upon insects and small vertebrates. Their brown bodies provides ample camouflage in there forested habitats. Like all other pheonixes, Tawny ringtail pheonixes are incredibly intelligent going as far as being hunting companions for the Yuttaka people of the Crimson woods, using the firey tactics of typical pheonixes.

2. Blood-crested Pheonix:
The Blood-crested pheonixes are the second tallest pheonixes in the world tho they are severely outclassed by their taller and bigger relative. Still, these feisty bests are not to be messed with as they can kick with enough force to shatter bones in a human hand. Their beaks are also not a very fun thing to encounter. These savanna dwellers are the species of pheonix that uses fire the most. Living in the savanna means the grass is quite dry year around and easily catches fire. The blood-crests also travel in flocks of up to 7 members, though a pair is more common.

3. Ash-back Mountain Pheonix:
The ash-back mountain pheonix is the second heaviest of the pheonixes. This bulk is quite necessary for this animal as it cannot rely on the fires its relatives utilize. Mountains are mostly barren with just a few patches of vegetation here and there. This has caused this pheonix to become a more physical hunter that runs its prey down before breaking shell, scales and bone with is beak and talons. Ash backs almost always seen in a pair of two along with their chicks.
