Something quick to say goodbye to Wordgirl.This show has finally ended. I'm sad.
I haven't drawn Wordgirl and Huggy in such a long time!
Goodbye, Wordgirl. Though the show has ended it will not be forgotten. It will continue through its fans.

Word Girl said on her Facebook page to continue to support her show by keeping the fan base alive. She could be rebooted in a few years like Ghost Busters, Archie Andrews and Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

To be honest with you I did not know that Tanya Spears is the new Power Girl in the D C Comic books New 52 series. You should have seen the hate mail I received from the cretins at You Tube for admiring Word Girl. I did my best umpire act and blocked them on You Tube for their rude comments.

Well, there are two reasons: 1) the demise of the studio that made it, Soup2Nuts, and 2) Wordgirl was ending anyway. It was going to end after season 6, but got extended to season 8. Still, I wish they'd have ended it big (namely, Miss Power returning, etc.).

the episode was great in everyway but I just wish they didn't stop there, at part 2 there should have been a part 3 and 4 continueing more about the collaberation with Tobey dr two brains the butcher ect. and having a huge epic battle between Wordgirl and maybe include her friends helping her in some way the way Violet helped Wordgirl with rhym and reason you know? instead of having Wordgirl defete in less than 3 secs -3- ... sigh~

Defeating her? Wordgirl was getting pummeled, taking a beating. There would've been plenty of blood spilt if it wasn't on PBS, or it was rated upwards.
