I managed to draw something, I had couple of minutes free time! 8DI practiced on drawing armor. I'm still not satisfied with the result. D: Maybe I should find a tutorial for armor. Maybe there is one somewhere.
This is my tigerbird character Gabyriella, just minutes after Shizara ripped her wings off. Gabyriella fainted a while after that (due to blood loss), but she fought fiercely against ghosts until then.
Gabyriella was saved by Ertas, who found her and carried her away from the battlefield.

Well, tigerbirds don't really fancy flying for their bodies are so heavily built and they are rather clumsy on air, so Gabyriella didn't suffer as much from the loss of her wings as someone else would have suffered (that is the longest sentence I have written in ages :'D ). But it did hurt. ):

Armorit ja veri on ihan kivasti onnistunut. Tykkään siitä, miten silmä erottuu selkeästi kypärän uumenista. Tosin karvaisissa otuksissa olisin kaivannut sitä, että karvat nousevat hieman armorin reunoillekin. Haarniskat kuitenkin ovat metallisia ja tulevat kehoa vasten, joten ne eivät välttämättä jätä karvaa siistiksi vaan reunoilta karvat saattavat (varsinkin taistelun jälkeen) olla sekaisin. Taisteluhaarniskaan kaipaisin myös sellaista "rosoinen ja kulunut" metalli tuntumaa varsinkin kypärään ja niihin kohtiin, jotka todennäköisemmit ottavat osumaa taistelussa.

Hyvä pointti D: karvojen pitäisi olla ihan sotkussa taistelun jäljiltä. Yritän seuraavaan haarniskakuvaan kuluneemman haarniskan. :3

Kiitloa olisi ehkä mun silmään voinut tehdä enemmän ja veri on ehkä vähän sellaista smudgemaista mun makuuni mutta kokonaisuudessaan kiva kuva. <3

Tuo veri näyttää todella hyvälotä! :3 Armoritkin näyttää armoreilta. Asento ja ilmekkin ovat todella hienosti onisstuneet ^^ Tuo silmäkin on kyllä todella kauniisti tehty. :3

Yks hyvä neuvo metallia tehdessä on käyttää tosi selkeitä varjoja ja highlighteja, kun tossa ne on tosi pehmeet ja sulautuu toisiinsa.

Not satisfied, eh? said someone who chose to put armors on quadruped creatures XD It's not easy designing and drawing this kind of armor. Anyway, keep on trucking. You'll get the feel of it eventually.
