Description
The US Airborne Troops (Paratroopers) have a traditional song called "Blood Upon the Risers" which is about your chute not opening. It is sung to the tune of "Glory Glory Hallelujah." For reference, the chorus:Gorey Glory what a helluva way to die!
Gorey Glory what a helluva way to die!
Gorey Glory what a helluva way to die!
...AND HE AIN'T GONNA JUMP NO MORE!
I got the original idea from "Band of Brothers."
I'm gonna touch this up - ink and color - at some point. Enjoy!
He hit the ground, the sound was splat, his blood went spurting high!
His comrades were then heard to say, "WHAT A HELLUVA WAY TO DIE!";
He lay there rolling βround in the welter of his gore.
...HE AIN'T GONNA JUMP NO MORE!!

This looks really familiar...was this based off of Medal of Honor: Airborne? Also, what happened to his helmet? XD

It's based of Band of Brothers. His helmet just probably flew off at some point...

"Is Everybody Ready?" cried the sergeant looking up!
Our hero feebly answered "yes" and then they stood him up!
He jumped into the icy blast, his static line unhooked!
And he ain't gonna jump no more!
GORY, GORY, WHAT A HELLUVA WAY TO DIE!
