I have nothing against Clefable as Hitmonchan's love interest in this scene from the Pokemon Orange Islands Anime episode "Stage Fight", I just thought Gardevoir would be cute as a love interest of Hitmonchan in that play about him boxing Machoke to win her heart. This episode was during between Gen 1 and Gen 2 and that was way before Gen 3.
