Description This sheet is to help members figure out where to submit to AND to help moderators figure out what to accept and what to deny to specific folders.

If your work doesn't resemble any of these samples in terms of style, it's probably not appropriate for this group. But if you are sure that it is and just can't figure it out, send us a note and we can let you know.

I used various artworks from various members as example pieces, these are:

What about line art that has been shaded in greyscale? [link] for example - would it fit in Outline art or Lines with one colour?

I'm really sorry but could you explain your thoughts to me. Most of these pictures does not match my idea at all of what a line drawing is. These examples just seem like most drawing styles imaginable.

That's kind of the point ... we accept a wide range of line art styles, including outline line art, pointillism, hatching, and line art with minimal shading. We also accept coloured line art, provided the lines are still clearly visible, or a link to the original line art is given. This was the main reason this group was created; no other line art groups were accepting line art that didn't conform to the strict outline art form ... we wanted to break away from that and include all the different kinds of line art as well, because each has its own merit that was being completely shut out by other line art groups.

This sheet is just so that people have a reference for submitting the various types of line art to the correct folders. I know the top row seems like it's including a lot of tonal variance, but if you follow the links in the description that link back to the original work used for those squares, you'll see that they all just employ various hatching and stippling techniques. And the bottom row deals with the coloured-in line art folder.

?

Not really directions, just explanations of what the thumbnails are in case people are having a tough time seeing them clearly, then a check mark for which folder is appropriate (and which is not).
