I mean
I wrote a whole fic series just to give them a happy ending
(Though by now I'm so used to see Scarlet as an OC I keep forgetting she's supposed to be the Grimmchild from the game)

And also I wanted Hornet to have some living family 'cause she needs it. She's been alone way too long between her mother being a Dreamer, her father being dead (and I'm not even sure he interacted with her at all anyway? There's no mention of them meeting each other) and her siblings being... undead to begin with, I guess. And locked up.
