(He's a weird kid. His siblings have normal interests. Syrup his older bro like music, his sister Moppet likes dolls and dress up, his little bro Pollen likes running (???), and Speedbag's a baby so... yeah. His mom let's him be weird and gives him stuff for his collection, so she's no help. His dad's a little concerned, though.)

He stares for a bit, but shrugs it off. "If you say so. I guess foreigners aren't used to the climate here. Anywho!" He leads him to another room.
It was like a little library. It even had a fire place. Another kid was sitting in there. "This is my big brother, Syrup!"
Syrup looks up and stares at Dillain. "I thought mom said we weren't supposed to let strangers in... He's not from this planet, is he...?"
"He's not a stranger! He's my friend! And, I dunno what planet he's from! What planet are you from, Mr. D?"

"A-aheh, n-no, I'm no stranger...I'm your NI-I-I mean I'm j-just...uhhhhh!!!....a um......guy....?" He still had his angry normal face but was a bit worried he would get compromised. A voice was heard.
"you know you can't get 'em like that, D." Juneau was hanging in the doorframe drinking a soda.
"JUNEAU!? HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?" He shouted.

"Just a guy? That sounds sketchy... And Maple... you let two strangers in...?" Syrup sighed.
"Hey, Mr. D, who's your friend? Is he from your planet too?" Maple asked tapping Dillain's leg.

Syrup holds Maple's shoulder as he bounces excitedly.
"Sounds a little dangerous, don't you think, Maple?" he whispers. Maple didn't seem to care.
"Show me the ship! Show me the ship!"

Maple follows Juneau. Syrup cautiously follows his brother.
"Ship! Ship! Ship! Gonna got see a cool spaceship!" Maple sings excitedly.

They arrive at the 'ship', which looks like a white jet and a grey helicopter combined, with red spraypaint graffiti on its sides.
"see, doesn't even look non-lethal."
"You have no proof of that, J!!!"

Maple was staring all wide eyed and happily. Syrup was unimpressed.
"WOW! This is your ship?! I've never seen one like it before! Do you travel all over the place in it?!" he asked excitedly.
He was bouncing up and down and could barely contain his excitement.

"This is NOT a helicopter, J!!"
"oh yeah, it isn't. it's a jet combined with a helicopter."

Maple stopped bouncing for a second.
"Mr. D... You and Mr. J sure argue a lot... Are you sure you guys are friends?"

"honestly, kid, what you should know is he's angry all the time, shouts a lot, and has no confidence in himself."

"Mr. D?! You're not confident in yourself?! That's so sad!" Maple exclaims while clinging to Dillain's leg. "Do you want hugs to feel better? That's what my mom does!"
"By the way, she should be getting home soon... She doesn't take to kindly to strangers, Mr. J and Mr. D..." Syrup said, in a concerned tone.

Dillain is so pissed at this point he cannot even respond to Maple.
"go right ahead, your fault for wasting time on such an angry man anyway. puh." Juneau said with a smug tone.

Maple still clings to Dillain, frowning that he's fuming instead of responding to him.
"Mr. J...?" Syrup whispers. "Is Mr. D ok...?"

"yeah he's just his angry self. for a kid like you, ya gotta always watch out for angry people. they are dangerous."

Syrup pries his brother off of Dillain and holds his hand.
"Is it OK if we just leave him like this? Do you wanna go back inside and have tea or something?" Syrup offers Juneau.

"eh, sure, i'm alright with tea. he'll get over that act he's having right now. what do ya got for tea though?" Juneau spoke looking at Dillain, then looking back at Maple and Syrup

"Well, OK then. We have a lot of tea since our mom drinks a lot. We'll just show you what we have." Syrup said while beginning to head back inside.
Maple broke free from his brother's grip and dashed inside chanting.
"Tea time! Tea time!" Maple sang. They headed into the kitchen. Syrup pulled out a box from one of the cupboards and placed it onto the counter.
He opened it up revealing all kinds of tea bags.
"I'm not sure how they compare to your planet's tea, but I hope you like them." Syrup said. Maple pulled out some of the bags.
"Let's make this one, Mr. J! It's really yummy! Well? Well?!" Maple said bouncing excitedly.

"ahh it's alright mate, even a thousand teas i'm alright with. just hope it doesn't make me sleep like that chamomile stuff." Juneau stood and waited.

Syrup boils the water as Maple goes to get the cups and the sugar. He patiently waits for it to boil, as his little brother babbles on pretty much endlessly. Finally it boils and he pours the water into the cups with the teabags already sitting inside.
"Feel free to add sugar if it's too sour." Syrup said. Maple put like three spoons of sugar in his and stirred it energetically.

"right." Juneau spoke as he grabbed his cup and laid the teabag on the cup. Knowing he should try it without any sugar, he patiently waits for the water to color. He takes the bag off and starts drinking it, feeling a hot flavor of the tea.
"mh, wow that's pretty good. kinda tastes like moss, though. where didja get this stuff?"

"How do you know what moss tastes like..." Maple asked wearing a puzzle expression.
"Our mom usually buys it, so we don't know where she gets it. Probably a tea shop." Syrup replies.

Else where, Sap had returned home and was puzzled by Dillain still standing out there by their ship.
She circled him, still staring, and poked at his arm.
"Are you alright...?" she asked.

"i guess i just have a taste bud, heh." Juneau replied to Maple in a calm way, while hearing Syrup's comment.
"oh yeah? back in my world, we had like, a really cool and rare tea shop. well, is it even a tea shop? no, it's like, a library of teas, dude. and there's this old man who runs the library, kinda like some sort of monk. if you ask for a tea, he'll get it for ya. gotta say though, that old man kinda gives me the goosebumps." Juneau had a little bit of a smirk on his face.

Dillain started breaking out of his ice cube with his pose still standing.
"I....I....I..." Dillain repeated, he hardly had to say anything at first.
