She said I could interpret them however I wanted and they seemed to be more like a passionate couple to me *^*
I saw some really nice tutorials on tumblr and they helped me change my way of coloring. I always had difficulties choosing what colour I should give the bg. It was hard since I already coloured the characters and then I had to find a colour that suited the whole drawing. The way I colour now is the opposite: first the bg and then matching the colours of the chars to it ~ (that's like choosing the atmosphere first)
Anyways had fun drawing this one!

Also I read the summary around the time I finished it (couldn't find it first) and I was like ohh he is a magician and she is cursed causing that spiderweb-like scar on her forehead right? And then later I thought heyy placing those lights on the rose was indeed a great idea since he uses magic hahaha (I first placed those cause I love sparkles XD)

You did a really wonderful job. I find that when artists trust their instincts, they're pretty spot-on! You nailed everything about these characters.
