Description
Just something for myself. I did make it into a pose. For when ever the uploader start to work for Wolfhome.
Adobe Photoshop 5.5 with tablet over inked sketch. Originally done in 150dpi.

I wish I had time to make one. But basically there are three layers of shading (darkens space) and two layers of highlights. Generally shading is 30, 50, and 70 depending on what affect I want. Highlights are 40 and 40 or 60. Again, depends on the affect. Tools, airbrush to fill in large areas, paintbrush to get the softer shading and hair, and the lots of erasing to get the other details I cant get with the other tools. From there is just playing around till I get what I want.
Plus, we just got Photoshop CS, so I maybe changing how I do things. I hope this helps though!

That will make for a nice pose, your lines are nice and clean, but won't it degrade when you shrink it down for to the specs?

It does to some degree. I usually have to go in and edit some pixels to get the right color. But otherwise, most are ok.

Ah, was wondering myself cause i've tried doing ones kinda big like that only to find out BAM they come out horrible upon a resize to smaller.

Yeah, its not perfect. It also depends on how large poses can be. On FO you can get pritty good quality, but on WH, its not great. They tend to reduce the amount of colors you can have as well as size.
I would do smaller sizes, but then I can't share them like this!

Ah yeah I hear ya! I've had that problem too with doing things at small scale, many a poses I do/find at small scale I find myself going "..eh? What happened here?" Lol
And FO? I haven't heard of this one.

Hehe, yes, small poses are interesting, theres just not enough room to work. I suppose I could do something inbetween the actual pose size and something I currently do. I just like having the space for brush strokes.

I am not much for bunnies, I would have to have me mauling it if I drew I rabbit in the picture.
Hopefully though the uploader will be running soon. They have at least art staff again.

Well, once the art staff get moving, and the uploader works, I am sure there will be plenty of people wanting to get commissioned. Of course they do kinda have an artist market currently, but I would wait till they figure out their rules first.

True, well there is always trading. And when they get the money system working, you can send money through PayPal, and even inside the WH system.
