Ehhh... yeah. My fingers hurt...According to GameCentral, I don't have a heart since I didn't cry at this part of the game, but I was kinda preoccupied with the fact that she was sinking. I'm not insane - she would've floated, right? Right? I mean, what did Cloud do, tie lead weights to her? Though i suppose it would ruin the moment if she was just... well... floating there. feh. Never liked Aeris anyhow.
Can someone tell me what's so good about FFVII anyway? I'm somewhere on disk 2 (after all the weird cloud-spasming) and very, very bored... give me Zelda anyday... *sigh* aw well.

..One more thing.. How did aeris sink so far while Cloud was stood up? He was clearly not staying up with his arms 'cos he had hold of Aeris, and he was far too above water to be doing it with his legs.. Ah well....

Oh My God! I've never actually thought about that! Maybe she had no Oxygen in her so she sank??? (Oxygen's lighter than water, right?) Anyway, I'm one of them FF freaks you speak of, and yes, FFVii is my fave... So I gotta say, play it 'til the end and try challenging the weapons, its fun..
FF Viii P'd me off 'cos the enemies levelled up with the characters, ah well...
It was quite emotional for me when Aeris died, not because she was special, but because I spent a few hours learning all her limit breaks, and then boating through the islands to get her Lv. 4... Anyway, I should stop babbling on now I guess...
Play FFVii!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! etc...

I probably will finish FFVII someday... right now I'm on disc 2 *dances* after the part at cape condor (or whatever it's called... anyhoo, I failed the strategy game miserably, luckily you don't have to win ^_^). Mebbe it was because I knew she was going to die anyway, but I didn't feel particularly sad when Aeris died. It was more like "HA! Shame!!! Serves you right!!! Why's she floating? Where's the blood?" etc. But meh.

that's the huge materia quest isn't it? it doesn't matter if you win but i'm sure you get a good item at the end.. Oh well. Once you get Knights of the Round materis the game gets fun! lol (Though its great all the way through!)

This is very funny and you raise some interesting points. I didn't cry either, but I didn't like Aeris much. She 's one of those perky girls that are weak as hell. And I agree with you on the whole everyone loving this game. I beat it once and I decided it play it again byt now I'm like why. . . its not that good and very confusing. You should give FF9 a try. It's my fav.
But back to the comic, I love the Cait Sith at the end to awesome. . . I'm gonna stop talking now. . . . FAV!

I didn't like her much either. She was fun at first, what with her making cloud crossdress and all, but after a while she was all 'ancients this, cetra that, blah blah blah' and got a little boring ^_^. Unfortunately I'm only on disc 2, mebbe I'll finish it someday... (why is disc one so goddamn long????)

Sephiroth was and still is the most badass-badguy I've seen.Aside from the whole 'obsession with his mother' thing. o.o *cough*
Personally,I think Vincent is the most involved with the story more than anyone else,aside from Cloud.

She has those shoulder-things on her jacket.That might help Aeris sink.Along with that metal staff...

anyway ffx has that element of story and fantasy that makes it simply the best game ive played.
it is PRETTy easy though, but still great. the first time i played it, it took me eighty hours to complete it, but after that and im playing it for the third time its been a third that.
