Ehhh... yeah. My fingers hurt...According to GameCentral, I don't have a heart since I didn't cry at this part of the game, but I was kinda preoccupied with the fact that she was sinking. I'm not insane - she would've floated, right? Right? I mean, what did Cloud do, tie lead weights to her? Though i suppose it would ruin the moment if she was just... well... floating there. feh. Never liked Aeris anyhow.
Can someone tell me what's so good about FFVII anyway? I'm somewhere on disk 2 (after all the weird cloud-spasming) and very, very bored... give me Zelda anyday... *sigh* aw well.

The people at Gamecentral (and their commenters) are just down-right hateful. I hate their bias review on Final Fantasy XIII. They also refer the story in BlazBlue as anime-nonsense which just proves they are racist fucktards!

well i play FF7 since 1998 i guess..my fave game ever...why i love it so much..lets see..at this time it was one of the fisrt RPG with 3 discs,....with more story in characters...with also deeper psychological BGs for charcters..it wasnt simply go..kill bad guy and rescue the princess like in the most of the RPG that time....it was about seeking yourself..the right answers..and what i liked the most main evil guy (Sephiroth) wasnt simply BAD EVIL GUY WITH SUPERPOWERS THAT SIMPLY LIKES TO KILL.....he ahd his reasons ...to become like this...
and about cloud..he is cry baby..cool but cry baby lol....i wish they would put more erm----well less from it in him lol
anyhoo taht time it was the coolest game ever...i still love it for story and charcter design(i mean not only clothes but also personalyi) and battle system is really cool..

I've really tried to get into FF7 - in the end, I got all the way to the bottom of northern crater, and nearly to Jenova, before being killed in some random encounter and giving up. Stopped liking it after leaving Midgar the first time, though! >_>

I'M NOT ALONE!!! I never really got into FF7, FF9 was always my fav with those, but Zelda still beats them all! XD

Well, most people aren't a fan of FFVII. You have to like it from the beginning in order to enjoy the game.

Same here, actually - I didn't play the game til like, 2000-something. I didn't realise she died so early in the game, though! It was kinda surprising, if nothing else. And she hadn't exactly been in it long enough for me to feel sad she was dead. >_> ah well!

lol be sure I was the same when I saw it...
but it you want a good reason to play FF7 I'd say the Turks, the moment when you have to Xdress Cloud, the escape of Midgar with the bike, the quest in Wutai, Hojo best mad scientist of all times, the chocobo races and breeding, certain NPC, the materia system, the end, some fangirls would yell Sephiroth, Vincent etc... I'd say FF7 has an interesting universe for mad fickers like me and that I'm a purist and fanatic... XD

Ohman, crossdressing cloud is probably one of my favourite moments in videogaming ever - and definitely one of the few times I've ever laughed out loud at a game. O_o;; Apart from that, though... >_> I got to the end (upto just before the last battle with jenova), but I'd been dying on pretty much every enemy up to that point, so I figured why bother? Plus, she uses ultima when she dies... >_>

on my part i was training, around level 60 and my cousin was getting bored of watching the fights so to please him I went to the nothern cave, didn't fight a single ennemy persuated I would die and used the Knights of the Round (and Mimic with Safer Seph) for all the bosses, that was an esay way to end the game but worth it

HEAR HEAR. :3 I gave up just before the final boss, as I was getting killed by pretty much every single random encounter at that point and didn't see much point in carrying on. >_> *watches ending FMV on youtube* :3 I preferred FFVI too, though I didn't get very far with that either...

I forced my way through FF6 since I fell in love with the characters. Each one of them had such a heart-warming and sometimes tragic story and kafka was such a annoying jerk that I just had to kick his arse XD
Besides, once you get your whole team together in the world of ruins and find the esper that gives you Ultima, the game is very easy... so no getting raped by random encounters in the last dungeon or by the final boss.
