...It's funny. Although this was planned shortly after reading a friend's journal [link] [FFVII: AC spoiler warning - But it's hilarious] and in good humor, I'm posting it now while not in a pleasant mood at all. It suits my mood so much it actually makes me more annoyed looking at it.Why am I so annoyed right now? Ask the nearest female.
I'm hungry.
I have a headache.
I'm uncomfortable.
And I hate every last little thing on this earth for no reason.
To top it off, I think this drawing is complete crap. I really can't use Open Canvas without Photoshop, it just doesn't cut it. All the crap I took for granted in Photoshop either isn't in OC, or it's there but REALLY irksome to use. The initial drawing was awesome, but yet again, I put it to death by inking/coloring it. Also this screen is like the size of a GameGear. But both the screen and program were free (for now), so I really can't complain. And yet I am. How annoying.
I can't believe how ticked off I am right now. This is going to scraps when I draw something worth replacing it with.

You feel that this is crap... It's difficult to answer back to that one... especially because I like it, but don't really know how to try and help you feel better without bringing myself down... which would probably have you feeling down even more.

Making you laugh was the general idea. Maybe you should drop the detailed plan every now and then. Just go with a base idea and start drawing, without planning it in great detail. I have a feeling that some wonderful things will happen.

Yeah...someday I'm going to have my breakthrough, and understand the reason my unplanned pics always end up completed and good-looking, whereas planned pics end in disaster. I have my theories, but no breakthroughs yet. When I figure it out, the world of art will be mine to conquer. XD

It's simpler than you might think. I think it is because with your planned pics, you end up and restrict yourself. You then find yourself unable to bring out expressions quite like you really want because you are then afraid to experiment like you probably would on an unplanned pic.

Everything has it's pros and cons. Sometimes (nearly at all times) I wish that photoshop had just a normal square and circle tool in which you choose the color of the outline and the color of the fill along with the pixel thickness of the outline, instead of going through vector crap all the time and simplifying the layer.
...I could rant about things like this forever but all in all we just have work with the tools we have.

Without having seen the sketch before you inked and colored it, I'm still gonna tell you I like how it ended up.
And I dont' even really know who Cloud is. Or why he's angsty. Or why his sword is so big.

All you need to know about Cloud is that he's from Final Fantasy VII, and that he's emo. ...incredibly so. To a point where I sometimes can't stand having to play as him (he's the main character). His response to everything is either "Go die somewhere because I hate you", or "I really don't care that you're dying/hurt/in trouble. Really, I don't."
As for my angsty post, again, I really shouldn't post when I don't feel my best. XD I always re-read it later and go, "How on Earth was I so angry?" I have my Cloud moments sometimes. XD

Well, your chibi version of Cloud is certainly better than the chibis I attempt to make,even considering the fact that I only have paint.
My parents are insanely paranoid into thinking that everything that mentions the word "download" is conspiring to give us a trojan, thus they only let me download photoshop V3, which is honestly pure crap T.T

i hate open canvas so very much... you can make cool stuff on it, but you already have to know everything about it to do so. Photoshop is much more user friendly.
