It does look more purple but I really admire the effort you've put into it to show the strands of her hair. The eyelashes too... wow, I love how you paint! The only thing that detracts from this, is that the nose doesn't seem to be pointing in the same direction as everything else. Also, that the chin seems a little too long for the face, but that may simply be because you shaded too darkly in that area.
