try making their head a bit bigger and having more deph to the lineart, like the outside the size ur using as shown and the inside (nose, mouth, finger) with a smaller brush and avoid using blur-like brushes/blur tools because theyre terrible for shading. please keep that to a minimun. the necks are a bit to big and it doesnt suit the art style where its a mix of cartoon/anime and everything is exagerated and there's a realistic neck. try making it thinner and a bit longer. otherwise yer art is good, keep it up and hope you have fun in the process.

most if not all anime is cel shaded its where u can see a clear line of shadows and highlights
