Personality: Easily frustrated and confused, oftentimes if he cannot comprehend something the first time he registers/hears it, he gives up/ragequits. Very courageous, almost to the point of stupidity. A bit meek, but when pushed can be very charismatic.

Short Backstory: Kennedy's mother (the first Pyrope) seemed to have a talent for dropping off the face of the earth for weeks at a time, but when she disappeared for over a year her team began to worry- soon that became five years, and eventually 20 years, but they never found her. Unbeknowst to them, she had become infatuated with a human man, and had been happily married.
Of course, being a Crystal Gem when she had her child, she sacrificed her own being for her child. For most of his life onwards Kennedy's father tried to be supportive as a parent but mostly fell flat, unable to quell the grief over the loss of his wife and how her son bore so many similarities to her, both in mannerisms and the gems on his hands.
Kennedy became somewhat of a recluse, wrapping the gems he had grown to disdain with bandages so they wouldn't be seen when he interacted with others. His species wasn't all that easy to hide though, as when he got angry he would often cause flames to startlingly flicker a bright, cherry red.
