Yup yup! It's been such a long while haha I was so busy with work irl and dealing with shitty roommates that nearly made me kill myself with their abuse

so ive just taken a very long break from both the blog i was running and online in general...it's been a helluva year or so.

I've actually only been back on dA for like 2 weeks or so myself. I kind of fell out of doing art or anything but I'm trying to get back in the groove of it~

Oh things are way better than they were, a total 180 from last year. I still have bad days, but I just need to get up off my lazy butt and get to the doctor for my antidepressants and stuff ^u^;;

Ayyy same. I tried to format my mystery brew post last night and I was like "...how do i do anything on this site anymore" haha
I want the drawing bug to bite me again so i'm forcing myself to do some designs, maybe i'll pick it all back up again, but who knows.

That's good! Yeah, I feel ya, took awhile to remember how do anything here XD

I've been in grad school getting my Masters in Library Science, so that's taken up most of my time. At least I'm graduating soon, then I'll be done with education outside a few online classes to get a school librarian cert. How about you?

I never knew you could go to school for that! Is that just for a librarian job or? Im glad youre at least getting something! Most people, at least arounf where i live, dont really stay in school. Including me lol i need to go back and get my nursing degree ;o;

I didn't know either until I looked into it, but to be an actual librarian (not a circulation clerk, but like someone at a reference desk), you actually need the masters - I can see why for people going into archiving or rare books, but for public librarianship a lot of it you learn on the job. I'm about ready to be done being educated XD

What are you doing in the meantime?

I'm so sorry this is so late, I just kept the comment up in my notifications  and tbh have just been lazy with communicating ;o; dat depression

I mean I guess that makes sense, would you want to be the one to work with the rare books and such? Or do you already have a specific place in mind for a job? That's super interesting though, I've always wanted to try to be one, but tbh I'm too loud for libraries haha 

I've not been doing much, pretty much just working. I had 2 jobs for a bit working about 70 hours a week between the two and now i just have one that they cut my hours from 40-20 so i'm getting back into some hobbies that I had abandoned from being so busy. And before that, i had moved in with my best friends and they ended up abusing me to the point of attempted suicide, so I'm still picking up the pieces of that whole mess. But I'm in a relationship with a great guy who lives an hour away from me and he visits me once a week, he just makes me so happy haha. 

I left that drama blog on tumblr because I just didn't have time to deal with all that nonsense anyway lol now i just sit at home on my days off and watch shows and draw pretty much! 

What about you? Besides all the schooling and stuff, how's life been?

It's fine! I'm in a rare books class this semester, and it's cool but definitely not something I'd wanna do as a career.  I'd really like to be a full time children or teen librarian at a public library, but those are pretty hard to come by so I'll probably end up as a school library with a part-time public library job. And libraries get pretty loud - where I work now there's a particular group of old ladies who come in every other day to loudly play mahjong and they do not take kindly to being told to quiet down!

Oh shit, sorry to hear about that with your friends You're out of there now, right? Glad to hear you've got a good boyfriend, though! It's nice that he visits so often~

Life's had ups and downs, but overall pretty good! Mainly I just read comics and watch Youtube videos XD
