look everyone, its a bishie!!so uh...
i did say he would probably have the most drastic redesign, but... yyyeaahhhh. it kind of ended up seeming far more close to the original than intended
speaking of which, you can see his god-awful original design here:

and! in case its unclear!!
the tag on his ear (which hes not drawn with in any of the other refs because reasons >v>) has his "official" name written on it, and "pilot" is just a nicknamed derived from that (BECAUSE REASONS >V>)
i swear there is actually a valid and relevant reason why he has that name
but if hes COpilot.A, maybe somewhere theres a COpilot.B...? hue

he was originally going to have more bat-like ears. but he was also originally going to have a hood, too, and i thought bat ears didnt look right with that. even though his final design doesnt have a hood, the floppy ears kind of stuck ΛΒ°Λ
