YAY for Simba fanart! YAY for UPLOADING!!
Hehe, I just had to quickly draw something, otherwise I
would've gone mad! @_@ so I browsed through [link]
and I stumbled acroos the newest contest. A winter contest!
Whee, I just love drawing snow! So Ma-gi-cal!!

The outlines?? Hehe, I drew them with a tablet. I tried to draw the lines that go further to the bottom more thick and at the top more thin. Line on curves i draw a bit mor ethick and line that are almost horisontal (at the bottom) I draw thicker. Line that sretch far goes from thick to thin to thick, and where lines meet each other, are thick.

Hehe, that's exactly what I had in mind, but (don't ask me why) I think i drew the picture to reflect my personality. If it ever snowed over here (It never snows - I never saw or felt snow in my whole life (!)) I would be all "WTF??" But then I'd go out and sit in the snow, freezing my ass off and then I'd command my dad to take a photo of the first ever snow in Stellenbosch! (I live in South Africa)
I know there aren't many cameras in The Lion King (!!!) XD (Like there are any!) Anywho, I drew him after he's all excited and then the picture was taken while he sat in the snow freezing his ass of. (Like I would've done! @_@ What a coincidence! XD) Please forgive me, I'm weird. Hehe, especially because I just wrote you an essay to read, and I'm still continueing!!! I have to stop now...

Tips... hmmm. I'll try, but it's hard to explain.
How to put this...
Okay, first off you need a tablet.
Second, draw in the basic color of the snow (Usually a VERY light, almost white, version of the sky color)
Now take the basic color of the sky (a richer version of the skycolor) and start drawing flowy patterns in the snow (Long patterns --> with a opacity sensitive brush, not a pressure sensitive brush.
On the sharp edges of the snow (try to do sharp edges, otherwise it will not look like you did your best--> and it will look like a pile of rubbish slush) 
I hope this load of choll makes sense. Just ask if i need to explain a bit better.

by the 'bad fault' do you mean the black ear rings that go a bit too far? Hey, that's nothing, I've made worse stuff! But I love the pic itself, it's so snowalicious!

Oh yeah, i did taht on purpose. It is to make the perspective right. Otherwise it would look as though his ear is at the total back of his head, but we all know a lion's ears sit on top at the sides. Hehe, but thanks. Any bit of critique or tips help me improve, so they're all welcome.
