This is my submission for *Elysian-Academy , a boarding school for "supernatural youth." It looks like fun! In fact, I sort of rushed this picture because I wanted to submit my application already, ahaha...

Character Name: Eshe
Character Species: Phoenix
Powers: Control over fire, regeneration and healing, transformation between phoenix and human forms
Hails From: Egypt
Brief Character History/Description: One day, approximately eleven years ago, a five-hundred year old phoenix built a nest of spices and sang until the sun ignited its body and its perch in flame. The bird and its nest were reduced to ashes. In their place, however, was a new, young bird, and Eshe was born. As a completely independent creature with no parents or relatives, Eshe raised herself in isolation on the highest mountain of Egypt, Mount Catherine. She would occasionally venture near villages and towns when feeling bored or adventurous, and the people there were always amazed to see a mythical bird of flame. During the beginning of one of these trips, however, she spotted a wounded man near the base of the mountain on which she resided and used her powers to heal him. The man survived to tell the tale, and news about Eshe’s abilities and sightings began to circulate. The stories caused most to revere Eshe as a powerful and benevolent being, but a few greedy hunters sought to catch the phoenix for their own use, and they traveled to the mountain and attacked her the next time she descended. She escaped relatively easily, but decided to move to a new location, eventually coming across Elysian Academy which she mistook for some sort of haven for creatures of all kinds. Only realizing it was a school after she registered, she decided she might as well stay and see what this institution was all about.

Blaaah, I'm really bad at coming up with backstories, but oh well. Anyway, I'd tell you more about her, but I gotta run off and start my homework, so I'll edit this later!
