This was done with charcoal and white chalk on grey paper.
I actually saw in mall and drew this from observation lol

lol if you really want advice I will actually give you some, even though I'm no expert...
so...When shading I try to do a midtone all over the thing I'm shading first, then add darks to the part with the shadow and go lighter or use an eraser to make the highlights.
The key to a good still life is to make sure you don't have any lines and that your whole drawing is just a series on tones.
