Fantastic. I didn't even notice the map in the background before i really looked closely. I'm not sure what the hourglass represents but it's nice to see something original. It could also mean multiple things like time is ticking before a certain something happens or summer is fleeting. I like the unique way you drew dipper. And if you were trying to replicate how he looks in the show I would suggest you alter the position of the nose. the books gold is coloured nicely but at the same time doesn't take you eye away from the main subject Dipper.
