★ Intellectual / Intelligent : Extremely knowledgable about many fields, particularly about anything mechanic/techological and Pokemon related. He's pretty clueless about human relations though. Able to multitask and cope with paperwork and other academically-challenging tasks. (So, he's constantly being given paperwork from both Tyson and Drake > u >" )

★ Perfectionist : Everything must be in place and everything must be done properly, that's how Rival works. He's also a complete neat-freak and loves order.

★ Realist : He is rarely open to outrageous ideas that he deems as illogical, since Rival is generally closed-minded. He's not exactly the most creative people to be with.

B i o:

Born and raised in Zanin his entire life, Rival has endured physical abuse from his drunk step-father every night. The most traumatic experience he had was when his left ear was cut up, it still has not healed up till now. His mother was unable to halt any misdoings, so Rival closed himself to the world, preferring the company of his laptop than conversing with people, thus, the electronic fetish.

Meeting Roy (Darkrai) was a chanced encounter when Rival was in his room, crying after another abusive episodes. Since then, Roy has been accompanying and comforting him, every night and they became partners soon after.

Not much is known about Rival, other than he has been working as an Engineer before taking up the position of Second-in-Command, since he's extremely secretive and refuses to speak much about his history. It was said that the technology and mechanics that fuel Zickeron's transport system and communication centres were under a team of elite engineers, one which Rival once took apprenticeship under. Whenever you see him on his iPhone or iPad, he's most likely to be still in contact with them, aiding the city's maintenance and sustainability whenever he can.
