It wasn't supposed to be HIS butt! It was on a completely separate piece of paper. It was just a random butt to show how the hokama looks from behind. lol. Everyone's freaking out about the butt, maybe I should just put some underwear on him.

Actually this clears up a few little details I have been missing when drawing the bleach uniforms. I am pretty sure that the leg slits and the part where the top attaches to the pants in the back are both little liberties that Tite Kubo took.
I don't mean to be a pain, but the hakama refers too the pants. The whole outfit is a kamishimo without the kataginu(winged jacket made famous by the samurai)

Honestly I think Tite Kubo's design makes more practical sense and would be easier to move around in. Especially for Omaeda, being heavy myself, I noticed the arms bunch up really bad and restrict movement.
