I picked the Snow Queen and was hoping to depict the beginning of the end of the story when the two childhood friends are at long last reuinted! Hurray for love = )

Oh what a great choice of a scene to depict! This is wonderful I love the glint of the troll mirror shard in Kai's tear in the moment he breaks free from the Snow Queen's hold over him. The expressions of all the characters are really lovely, especially Kai and Gerda's. You certainly have a way with hair ~ wow such gorgeous hair! Gerda's braid is really nice, I like the fabric band added into it I really love the detail in the background elements, the snow covered pines and the large snowflake as well! Thank you so much for this beautiful entry!
