:EDIT: Okay, it's nice and all that you guys like this. But if your going to comment, don't try to convince me that it is the bite of 87. I'm still looking how this game exist on the timeline and I rather do it myself. Until then, I'm standing by my theory until I can find something in the games that can convince me otherwise.
:EDIT2:( 2/9/15) I just watched MatPat FNAF4 theory. I don't always agree with Mat's theories, I do with the new one. At least someone of you will get off my back about this being the bit of 87. :>
Also I took out the explanation for this, since it is no longer needed.
Also, if you don't understand why the brother is there. Then do me a favor a look back at both night 5 and night 6 endings and only look at the colour of the text. That should help.

You really have to hand it to Scott. Most of the time when a big mystery Noodle Incident of aΒ popular work is finally revealed to the fans, the outcome is almost always disappointing. After all, how could it ever live upΒ to all the anticipation? Β How could it ever be as good as what we've had time to dream up, right? Like the Star WarsΒ prequels. Never needed to know that Darth Vader was once such a whiny little bitch. The Bite, however, freaking EXCEEDED my darkest imaginings. I just figured that the Bite victim was Jeremy, the nightwatchman from the second game, doing as he was told and keeping an eye on the animatronics when Mangle went haywire or something. But having it turn out that a little tormented boy who was the real victim, and that it was his own kin that did it to him? That is horrible beyond my capacity to describe.

I think you're right, it is '83 and I have proof
In FNAF 1 when phone guy was talking about the bite of '87 he commented "It's amazing how the human body can live without the frontal lobe" which means the victim of the bite of '87's frontal lobe must have been bitten out
This kid's skull got shattered for god's sake his whole brain got smushed probably along with his frontal lobe
there wouldn't be a 1983 on the tv for nothing you knowΒ

Well you have to understand the "Bite" was in low quality so we couldn't see what really happened

wow this is great but it is the bite of 87 sorry but we see mangle and a child playing with toy chica, toy freddy, and toy bonnie figures. check the night 3 cutscene and go to the playground area you will see three figures of the toy animatronics.

I'm glad to see I ain't the only who thought of this...also I think he dies at the end of night 6. If ya listen the background noise during its last cut-scene, it ends with what sounds like a heart Β flat-lining Β

To be fair, I think the murders happened prior to 4. At one point, there's a little girl who mentions a rumor that the animatronics wander around during the night. I do like this theory though. It's good to see someone besides me accepting the bite of 83.

So according to the description the four bullies plus the child are the murdered children that become Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and Golden Freddy? (If the child survived the bite and got out of the coma)

The victim dies at night 6 if you listen very carefully u will hear a flatline when the child disappears and it did happenn in 87 the reason the tv that has 83 was because it was open in 1983 and remain open until the bite after that someone bought the restaurant and renamed it because of the bite and renamed fredbear to golden freddy and springtrap was also there.
It also where the four children were killed by the purple guy....and that all I have to say

omg someone else who noticed that the text color was gray like the brothers and not yellow like FredBear's and then it changes to FredBear's color at the text "You're broken" I thought I was the only one to the point in fact that I just accepted everyone else saying that it was all FredBear
As for the "bite" I do think it was the bite of 1987 because in commercials sometimes places will have established dates under the title so I think its just EST. 1983
