I've got, literally, 16 projects I need to be doing, and I must really be a fool, because I not only accepted, but went and LOOKED FOR, two more! Anyway, I realized how much I missed drawing Linka, and found a few old sketches I wanted to turn into full pics. This is one of three, so two more should come relatively soon, I hope. The initial sketch for this was a perspective study and I did it a few years ago. But I recently found it and thought it would look cool if I did the whole deal.I have no idea why I liked that episode so much, but I do! In this scene, she's tripped and spilled some Bliss. Poor, poor druggie!

The Bliss episode. That episode was freakin' sad. Was it her cousin or brother that died because of it? I haven't seen the show in years, so I can't remember.

Awesome! this a really good picture, you captured Linka very well; I remember "Mind Pollution" x.x; I still can't believe Linka became a drug addict in that episode, in my opinion it was the darkest CP episode I ever saw; I remember when I was younger, when Linka's eyes turned red, it used to freak me out! xD Well done in capturing her in the darkest moment she ever had in CP!

It was pretty amazing how bad she had it. She was about to murder her friends by pushing them off the dome with her ring!

Yeah O.O your telling me, and when she was attempting to kill her friends...scary! luckily her ring didn't work since her mind was too polluted with Bliss. But yeah I enjoyed that episode, you NEVER see stuff like that in a kids cartoon anymore, itsone worth remembering! xD

It's been forever since I saw that episode, but I still remember it clearly, it was one of my favorites. Also, for the record, it helped me a lot for a school work I had to do, as it had to do with drugs and the negative effects they cause.

I was crying because Linka refuses but her cousin drugs her and she ends up hooked this be a good time for Cartoon All-Stars to the Rescue to come for a visit

Sweet pic!! Like you said, I think this was one of the more memorable episodes because it dealt with something so important and dark, and had such an effect on Linka, who was normally so composed and directed. I still remember the majority of this episode even though it's been such a long time since I've watched it. (sidebar, know anywhere one can watch CP episodes on the 'net?)
And Wheeler was so great in this episode, which gave us diehards hope, which was super great as well!

Yes! Agreed! Hmm, there are a lot of CP episodes on the web. I have all episodes on my hard drive, downloaded, but I'm sure there are some streaming on the web... Try guba.com and of course youtube. I'm always happy to send any episodes you want via email, too ^^

Lol I loved this episode the most fo rthe same reason LovelyLocks and you just explained. Not only did it center on Linka. Also she was struggling, it was a dark episode and Wheeler was the one to help her. Especially the part when he backed down the advances she made to him. If it would've been someone else he would've taken advantage of Linka's state, but he so cutly backed down

Yep, that's how you know he's a true sweetheart! At least he exhibits true compassion for her in that episode and doesn't just treat her like a booty call.

They used to look that way! Once i got into clay modeling, I had to clip them off, and I liked the convenience of short nails so much that I kept them that way

HAHA!!! Exactly! Yes! I think this is why I enjoy the episode so much! Normally, she is so independent and capable, so it's a nice change to see her vulnerable! Not to mention the whole Wheeler-helping-her-get-through-it stuff, and the drama. It was one of the more serious episodes, which I LOVED! Anyway, there are two more pics of Linka I've got coming, both of which also center around Bliss (it's also so fun to draw her that way. I love that even as a wiped-out druggie she is still so beautiful). Anyway, thank you thank you thank you ^_^

absolutely! she was always such a brain... and very independant as you also said. So to see her like that... was kind of exciting. Not in a sick way or anything, it just made the story so epic!! XD *sigh* ... Linka + Wheeler =
