My first reference sheet! I was actually asked by a friend to do one for Rue, and it bugged me every time I looked at the color pallet I posted. So here is the proper reference for her!

I also tried to fit her in with the Sonic Forces timeline but here is a brief bio:

In one word, Rue is difficult. She is confident, quick-witted, and a bit egotistic. She likes to throw sass and sarcasm around either for comedic purposes or to tease. She has a bit of a one track mind, and doesn't like to be proven wrong about most things. She also hates asking help from others, and sometimes avoids tasks that would require her to ask. Nonetheless, she really cares about her friends and family and would go out of her way to help them.

However, Rue lacks a lot of patience and has a bit of a short fuse. It doesn't take too long to annoy her. When angered, Rue will act cold towards anyone, and will even hold grudges towards those she feels she's been badly done by. This is kind of a learned trait from Shadow.

Rue's friends include Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. Her closest friend, and later boyfriend, is Blade the wolf ( 's OC). Upon joining the resistance, she became aquainted with Rouge and Team Chaotix, and befriended Silver, Gadget and Visor.

Rue's an only child and lived with her father. Her mother died in a plane crash when she was young. Her father was a G.U.N. officer, and a co-worker of Shadow. After Shadow ended up saving Rue from Eggman during a recon mission, Rue's father requested Shadow to be Rue's combat trainer. Most of Rue's skills in combat come from Shadow. After her father was killed trying to stop Infinite in Metropolis, Rue started to see Shadow more like a mentor.

While Rue can do decent without it in combat, Rue prefers to have her sword, Azurine, on her. Azurine wasn't originally created for combat and was more for the aesthetic, but Rue found use for it. She is self taught and prefers to use it more defensively. She is relatively a fast learner in using other devices, like the grappling devices on her wrists and her headset.

Other facts:
-Rue is ambidextrious, but is dominantly right handed.
-She fears planes, heights, closed spaces, and losing her friends and family the most. She fears water, too, if it's deep and she cannot see the bottom of it.
-Rue dislikes nicknames that are a spin off of her own name (Example being "Rue-kie" rather than "Rookie").
-Her favorite colors are sky blue and yellow.
-She generally acts on impulse and intuition rather than thinking something through.

My apologies if this was a bit vague. I'm more of a "Show don't tell" kind of person. I think I covered everything important, but feel free to ask questions. I'll answer them to the best of my ability. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy!
