Description [UPDATE 11/11/2022: I have remade this effect pack to now include a new DropShadow modification based on KH40's DropShadow_Stage. If you need to use one or more DropShadow effects with a stage, this is now possible! Please redownload this effect pack to get the new modification]

~~~
[UPDATE 25/07/2020: This effect has now been properly overhauled! The new patch includes:
-An update to Chestnutscoop's readme for clarity
-Added an English Translation of Beamman's readme
-Renamed the 'Light Blue' effect to 'Cyan'
-Renamed all .x and .fx files for ease of use and clarity
Please redownload the effect! The link is still the same below ^_^]
----------------------------------------------------------------
I've never edited DropShadow before, and I'm really proud of how this turned out . Also I spent longer on the advertisement image than i did on the actual effect so pls appreciate it T_T
So this effect edit consists of a total of 8 solid spectrum colour effects using Beamman's DropShadow effect. This effect is useful for very stylised art, and can be used to replicate a shadow on a solid wall behind a model. The effect also works in front of the model, and can be moved using the X, Y and Z parameters in the accessories tab.
Please read both readme's in the folder, as both contain important instructions on how to use this effect
If it's ok to ask, how do you edit the colours? I was hoping to make some custom ones but want to use the colours I have and I'm not experienced with fx editing. ;w;
Please ask me any questions at all!
So with MMD effects there are a few ways you can edit them. Firstly, you can edit the texture directly from the effect file, which will then change the image of the effect. I have a tutorial here for that- MMD- How To Edit Simple Effects Tutorial
However, if that doesn't work, or if the effect doesn't have a texture file, you need to edit the code directly in the .fx file. It's a lot simpler than it sounds so don't be overwhelmed by all the code! I have a tutorial for that here- MMD/MME- Editing Colour In Shaders
Luckily the colour code for DropShadow is actually right at the top of the text, on the 7th line (and it looks like this: > = float3(1,0.8,0). Just play with the numbers and find a colour you like!
Hope this helps!~
The image for this is very pretty! Seems like something you’d see in a magical girl transformation.
Im going to download this when I get on my computer (on my iPad right now) and I’ll test it out, it looks great.
