She stood by the waters, facing outwards to the shimmering sail boats under the soft moonlight. The tide lapped gently through her toes, her shoes casted aside on the white sand. Her hands were clasped together in prayer and her eyes were closed. The wind gracefully caressed her, touching everything from her hair through her clothing and straight through her skin, as if to reassure her that her thoughts will reach him. High on the cliffs that enclose the bay, and even farther out in the cove, boats and ships were flying colourful kites amidst the strings of glowing lanterns to guide people through the oceanside mists at night. It was so peaceful, yet she couldn't fully find herself enjoying the festivities without him there.
A short gust of wind blew through, forcing her to lift her hand up and pull her hair back out of her eyes. The ocean responded with droplets of water lifting off from the tide and flying into the wind, causing the world to glow and sparkle around her. Beside her, a dolyak calf had made it's way to her with a red balloon in its mouth. It looked up at her doe-eyed.

"He will enjoy seeing you in that tonic when he gets back." She told her young son, who simply stared up at her, ignoring the beauty that surrounded them. Their son was probably the only one who could miss him more than she did right now. If only he could have seen the Zephyr Sanctum once again before he was called away.

She hands resumed their position, as if to hold her heart in place, and she once again closed her eyes as the wind subsided back to a delicate breeze.
"Come home safe my love. We are waiting."
