Description
I had wandered for many days through a strange mist. I was quite lost, and my compass broke the first day that the mist had descended upon me. It was some time before the mist cleared, and I stumbled upon the most unusual of animals. In front of me stood the most bizarre looking rhinoceros that I had ever seen. Even more interesting, the rhino cast a shadow shaped not unlike a horse, only with a horn attatched to it's head. While the rhino stoood quite still, not unlike a huge boulder, the shadow dance and pranced, flicking it's hooves and tossing it's mane.'What on earth are you?' I most certianly did not expect an answer.
'Now that's an interesting way to phrase your question, considering how we are not on Earth.' The rhino paused, as though amused by my question. 'I, as you can see, am a Unicorn.'
~Excerpt from Edmund the Lost's memoirs.
Inspired by The Rhinoceros who Quoted Nietzche, a short story by Peter S. Beagle.
Several hours, combination of Painter and Photoshop.

Wow, this is great and at first glance made me think of another short story by Peter Beagle, 'rofessor Gottesman and the Indian Rhinoceros'. Probably the same principle. I must now go out and find this one to read!

*Enter whining* but you are worthy! You must only believe in yourself, and you shall be deemed worthy! That and practice. Mucho mucho practice.

Whoa. THat's...whoa. Good whoa. Awesome whoa. Whoa man, whoa. Whoa-doesn't-look-like-a-word-anymore whoa.
You're my rainbow made of children. How that works...I don't know, but with this unicorn, somehow it does.

The arch is the rainbow, the rhino is the army, and the unicorn is the immortality of the children.
And, when in doubt:

When in doubt CHEW! I love it.
And to quote us at Saint-Gaudin:
"So where is this alleged temple?"
"Maybe he felt...the fields were his temple...because they're big and expansive...like God."
"That's bullshit."
Go non-existant symbolism!

*Spits* Indeed, God is Tasty. And in my Pants. But that's another matter altogether. In my pants.

"Guyyyys...God is everywhere! He's in those trees, and in this car, hell he's even in my pants!"
That was so sacreligious.
