he did kill toothless (or at least the nightfury that toothless would have been) i didnt want to show actual violence/murder so i made it artistic (sorry if that was confusing!) he cut the ropes to originally release the nightfury's body for transport back to the village, but also to salvage the ammo for his contraption
if you dont get what illusio means im not sure how to explain it without being vulgar lmao (or you're a little young)
