i tried to go a bit experimental with this and im very happy with the results

i wanted to pay tribute to the original Lemon Demon cover and i thought it fit pretty well with the map idea!

not sure if its too similar but ah well i still enjoy it

i also tried to emulate felt art, since the map encourages mixed mediums (which is very awesome) and experimental styles

TOUCH-TONE TELEPHONE THUMBNAIL CONTEST (OPEN)hey everyone! i asked twitter what it would like me to do for a thumbnail when touch-tone telephone is out, and the majority wanted a thumbnail contest! since this is my first time hosting one, i apologize for any weirdness or confusion about the rules and whatnot that you may have. feel free to ask me for clarification or direct any other inquiries you have to me as well. now that i've said my piece, i'll continue on to lay out the rules and specifics!RULESthe most important rule is that the thumbnail must be sized to fit youtube's fullscreen dimensions, which respectively are 1080x720 OR 1920x1080. the map call uses 1920x1080, and so will the final video, so unless you want your art resized in the credits, i would recommend sizing your entries at 1920x1080.the only character required in the thumbnail is goosefeather, because this map is about him. despite this you may add whichever characters you please alongside him. if you want to do so, i recommend adding characters like featherwhisker, moonflower, or cloudberry due to their relevance to him in the map. all of their designs can be found here.this shouldn't have to be said, but any entries with inappropriate themes or other such content will be ignored. you are also not allowed under any circumstance to trace, steal, or otherwise claim others' work as your own.you will have complete freedom within these guidelines to tackle your entry, and i highly encourage whatever creativity you see fit to use! abstraction, experimentation, multimedia, etc... they're all welcomed! all i ask is that you legibly write somewhere the map's title ("touch-tone telephone") and "goosefeather map" or something similar. you may make a version with and without the text but please include it!completed entries may be posted here on deviantart, where once i have seen them i will add them to a folder for organization. however i also ask that you email the file to me at chamochomps@gmail.com with your preferred title to be credited by (for example, i would ask to be credited as chamochomps). if you post it to another site (ie twitter or instagram) please try to link back here or to the map call! you may also @ me if you post your entry to twitter, where i will retweet it.... and that should be it! all entries will be included in the final upload, and the winner will be contacted and their entry used as the final map's thumbnail! the contest is open until further notice, of which then i will make another update and a final due date! good luck to everybody! here is the thumbnail contest journal
