It's an ota, only in auctions do you bid on a featured comment and start a chain of bids

i understand that, but i dont understand what problem there is with it, ive seen other people do it which made me do it
and i thought it would be nice to let someone know that someone else had a higher bid than they did so that they can bid above it if they want

OTA's aren't about the "higher bid" they're about the offer the Owner likes the most. so it doesn't matter if you show someone you Outbid them because it's all in the hands of the owner on what they'd choose anyway.
