Im an Bisexual,and I have an question.
Why is there Bi pride?
To me bisexuality is just an sexuality,and nothing more.
Thats why Im not understanding why people are proud,since its nothing special or rare.

Actually there's a lot of hate against Bisexuality.
About a few months ago there was a kid being bullied because he opened out about being Bisexual and killed himself on school property.
And I know a lot of people who are Bisexual or Pansexual and they get lots of hate every single day.

Actually there's a lot of bi people that get equal hate. I know my mother thinks they're "greedy" for wanting/liking both genders & others consider them sluts.
Let's just face the facts of people's minds, if you ain't straight then you're considered a "freak" or "not normal" there's no real solution to how or why people think this way.

But as a bisexual, to date someone of the opposite gender is still illegal, whether you're bi or not. Just because you like both males and females, doesn't mean you'll end up a male who likes a female, and vice versa. Of course bisexuals are more accepted, but that doesn't mean they're not in some cultures just labelled "Gay" and discriminated against?

They're both legal! It's just that in a lot of countries, (coughcoughrussiacough) it's still illegal, so even if you're bi, you'll still be labelled "gay" in societies like that for dating the opposite gender, I forgot to state that in previous ones~
And that's not everywhere, a lot of people I know don't understand bisexual, and a lot of people just write a bi person off as "gay" because they're so close minded they think there's only "gay" and "straight"
