Also before you go off on me saying that I dont have any idea what raising an animal is like or that I dont care about animals, let me get one thing straight.
I have two kittys, Abby and Kitten, and I take very good care of them. I am also planning on getting a corgi. I know that dogs and cats are different in a number of ways. One big difference is what they do outside.
My cat, Abby, checks both ways BEFORE crossing the street. She also knows not to go near cars and big animals. Most cats do this. But dogs chase after cars, they bark, and arnt as careful as cats. And as such there is a reason why dogs should be kept tied up on a long leash near a dog house or free behind a fence.
I love all animals and I am a huge protester against animal testing and abuse. However I do not condone the foolish shit you are pulling. So dont you DARE say I dont care about animals.
You want to know why your friends dog is dead, you want to know whos fault it is? then tell your friend to look in the mirror. Because if she had properly taken care of her dog and put it behind a fence or tied it up then her dog might still be alive.

Dogs live longer lives if they're locked up, because then they're not getting hit by cars. Why must you blame someone else for your friend's mistake? Not the driver's fault that a dog jumped infront of them, it's the owner's for not holding onto their dog.
Let me tell you something, two of my dogs died because a raccoon killed them. Do I blame the raccoon? No. I blame myself, because I gave my dogs human food as treats and left them outside in a pen. The smell of food attacted the raccoon and it killed them to get to the food. It was my fault that they died, if I hadn't left food out there and brought them inside at night, they'd still be alive. See? The killer isn't to blame all the time, especially when the course of events became set because of the owner's actions and decisions.
