My rat died. She's been gone a while, though. I just couldn't really talk about it because I'd start crying.Now I have a new rat, a large male I named Hannibal. He's pure white with red eyes.
This just kind of represents me whenever I think about her.

I remember losing my first rat, Jack. He's always had a place in my heart, and I know how it feels to still hurt to think about him, but you just have to remember all the fun you had with them. As long as you remember them, they never reallygo away.

I'm sorry to hear that. The only others I've had I lost within a month. I've not bought rats from big name pet stores since then. Emily, Sophie & Evey were the only others I've had. It's tough, and it's never really okay, but they always leave little pawprints for us to remember them.
