Since this is a rainmeter skin, you have to download Rainmeter for Windows - a desktop customization tool. Then run this file to install

Does this replace the original metro start or does it? xD
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
chezburgur In reply to Nickboy566 [2015-01-09 06:20:29 +0000 UTC]
It overlaps the windows start and taskbar, you can also hide the original taskbar and start menu by right clicking on your user pic. to replace the original start and taskbar.

Markistic thanks alot mate, and regarding:
1. I think it's the standard size, but we'll see what we can do about that.
2. Right Click or Double Right click on the ID
3. The draggable feature would be on the next update, but it's function is to resize the start menu.
4. We're gonna add a settings that will hide the taskbarcompletely while the start button remains, or partly invisible
5. I did that before, but i remove it due to some issues. Let's try it again on the next update!
6. Yeah! I think we need to revamp the settings on future updates.

Just one question as I have been curious about this. Does this replace the current taskbar or add an extra?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
chezburgur In reply to bastion40 [2014-10-26 16:38:41 +0000 UTC]
It does add an extra taskbar, however you may want to hide the original taskar by "Right Mouse Click" on your user ID at the upper left.
then go to SystemTray > FadeTB.exe and check "Start With Windows" to hide your current taskbar on startup.
Note: In windows 8, it will also hide the start orb. In windows 7 however you need to manually hide your startorb, here's how to:www.youtube.com/watch?v=lEbM_m… . Hope you like it !

Skrell In reply to chezburgur [2014-11-16 16:35:05 +0000 UTC]
what is the point in adding a new taskbar? I dont understand? Why not just make a custom start menu button that overlays on top of the regular taskbar and triggers Flash Menu to show?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
chezburgur In reply to Skrell [2014-11-17 04:01:00 +0000 UTC]
one of the purpose is "so that taskbar color and start menu color would be the same". Dont worry, im gonna add function that will hide totally the taskbar and all the items over it except for the start button. or maybe we can change the original start start button function. Another thing, windows xp + will be supported on the next update.

onedraco13 :i only wish it were organized better so i could simply edit some of the code rather than look through all of it just to find the one "needle in the haystack".
I think there's no need for me to do that because of "Flash Menu Settings" featured on this package.

chezburgur: Salamat! I appreciate you being up front about this. Honesty will go a long way with people here.
I will give the updated version a try, although I will update the skin to use without the adf.ly pass through.

Thanks. I did find this after about an hour of searching last night out of intense curiosity. Not sure how it actually works, but at least I know where it is. I may mess with the skin a bit beyond this as I see room for enhancement, but am happy with what I am using now.
