The pink on the bubbles on the right is a little distracting, but aside from that, the rest is pretty great.

I made the BG first as a test (I've never drawn anything like this before~) and the different-colored bubbles are to represent the bubbles in his level of Shovel Knight! But I can see where you're coming from~
