Bururu at different ages, I guess this would be a color ref as well.Ages and Defining Events:
Tadpole: She was born.
Baby: Bururu learned to walk and say simple words.
Child: Parents separated.
Preteen: Bururu runs away to get away from her father; Goes to Pekopon; Returns to her mothers home and lives with her.
Teen: Bururu's mother dies, Bururu wears the white scarf around her neak.
Young Adult: Bururu has to go through emergency surgery. Even after the wound on her abdomen heals she wears the bandages to cover the scar.

Ya in the picture with Lily she was pretty much recovered. But like I said in the description, she still wears the bandages.

Bururu suffers from a disease that could possibly be the same thing that's wrong with me... So I have no idea, but in Bururu's case it's because of her mother, she had the same disease and it was passed to her.

Build up in her intestines, it ruptured and that was why she needed a surgery. That's also why at that point she doesn't have a big belly anymore.
