Hyram is a silent but deadly person; never approach him unless you have reason to, such as a job for him to do (assassinate, steal..), otherwise he may, if not already, hate your existence within an instant for wasting away his time. He’s selfish, aggressive and won’t talk unless he finds reason to.. If he doesn’t give a hoot about a word you say, your most likely to get ignored. If he does, in any way, threaten your life, think of it as a serious threat, he never jokes around and is constantly serious. When or if you manage get on his really bad side, consider yourself the next victim on his ‘hit list’.

Life History:
Hyram was born to the sandy, sunbeaten streets of a small village in the middle of Adoddon Desert, into a family of a father, mother and after some years later, a sister. His family was always desperate for money and as time went on, his parents grew diseased and frail from the horrible quality of life they had. Worried, Hyram joined a gang in the area that were famous around the village for stealing and thievery. This way he would be taught the basics of pick pocketing and fighting, in which he hoped he could use to his advantage for his own family...Though there was one rule that threw him off; all stolen goods must be shared amongst the group. As fair as this did sound, It wasn’t enough. A poor village would be hard to make a profit from already, let alone having to share it as well. After being in the group for some time, he made sure he earned their trust by bringing in whatever he stole, but as time went he decided he wouldn’t need the group for much anymore. He grew agile, strong, stealthy and he knew his skills surpassed that of the group leader. This was when he decided to bring a majority of the funds directly to his family, instead of the gang, covering up any suspicious behaviour by bringing at least something to the group each time.

Soon after he was found out for his wrong deeds by the group, angered, they killed his family while he went pickpocketing. As he arrived back with the goods, he was greeted by his newly painted, blood red walls and stain clothed corpses that laid in his main room. He grew immense hatred. His whole life, dedicated to saving his family…now meaningless. In a rage he massacred the whole gang, one by one, needless of whether or not they contributed to his family’s slaughtering. From then on he grew cold and aggressive, leaving the village to travel, using his skills to thrive and earn money. He’s made an oath to himself to never grow emotionally attached to anything…he doesn’t need anyone but himself…

A few months ago while he was trying to get some shut-eye in an oak tree, a Halfling by the name of Phoenix had disturbed him; and not too soon after another, Ajla, had come to join her side. It was from then did he keep seeing these two; and no matter how grouchy he was towards them, they never really seemed to be too put off by him, especially considering his race. A few weeks after they had first met, he was again resting from a late-night job by the side of a building, and to much of his surprise an injured Phoenix had found her way over his lap in a miss-judged step. He was hesitant of helping the halfing under no cost and was swayed by a deal he made with Ajla; assistance for accommodation. As he had found Ajla to be stubborn and serious at the start towards him, he soon saw a more caring side to her right when she opted to heal him of his injuries; he swore himself to return the favour, and came to her aid in battle when she had gotten herself into trouble. They then had both started looking at each other in different eyes…

Many happenings and Months later, he found himself to be relatively close to Ajla…in fact, in love with her. He had (under great effort), one night, admitted to her about the way he felt towards her, and she agreed and confessed she felt the same way. From then on, he has been taking genuine care in her and is frightened he might fail his promise to protect her, like he had with his own family.

Biggest Fear: The fear of losing Ajla.
Life Goal: The protection of Ajla; but other than that, nothing.

Fighting Style: Close and long distance attacks. He is quick and agile when fighting close range, mainly just killing his target with a dagger or with his hands (punches, kicks…), but if he finds someone with skill, he may draw his main blade. For long distance, he has a good eye and can throw a dagger pretty accurate from a distance. He is capable of using blood magic to enhance his strength and speed, but refrains from doing so unless he absolutely has to (considering it drains life).
